Your role involves not only shaping the direction of Domino’s Technology architecture, but also leading a multifaceted team responsible for the implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. This position will work closely with all departments within the Domino’s Technology group. Yourexpertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the ongoing protection of our organization's data and assets.This role will be multi-faceted as a senior leadership responsibility along with providing highly technical guidance. Day-to-day management of the following groups will be necessary, but assistance will be gained through your direct reports which consist of (2) managers and multiple engineers\analysts. Projects will be driven by you and your team and coordinated with (2) Technical Delivery managers.Groups to be managed:Security EngineeringPurple TeamOperations IntelligenceResponsibilities:System Design and Planning:Develop and design the overall structure of the organization's information systems.Create system specifications and architecture blueprints.Security Architecture:Develop and implement security architectures for information systems to protect against cybersecurity threats.Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.Infrastructure Planning:Plan and design the physical, cloud based, and virtual infrastructure required to support the organization's security systems.Consider scalability, performance, and resource optimization.Splunk Deployment and Configuration:Work with other team members to manage the deployment and configuration of Splunkinstances to meet the organization's log management and monitoring needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Splunk solutions that align with business requirements.Log Management:Manage the optimization, indexing and storage of log data within Splunk.Work to control log ingestion through policies and proceduresImplement best practices for data retention, indexing, and search capabilities.Optimization of Security Monitoring:Optimize Splunk for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to assist Domino’sCybersecurity Defense team with monitoring and responding to security incidents.Implement and maintain security policies and configurations within the Splunk environment.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor the performance of Splunk infrastructure and make recommendations for optimization.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk performance and reliability.Documentation and Training:Maintain comprehensive documentation of Splunk configurations, policies, and procedures.Provide training and support to other team members as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Strong understanding of information systems, networking, and security principles.Experience in deploying and configuring Splunk in enterprise environments.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and collaboratively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:Splunk certification (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin)Experience with other security and monitoring toolsKnowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)Internal knowledge of organizations infrastructureAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
